Profile:
Moretele Community Radio station is licensed with ICASA located Hammanskraal, 41kilometres North of Pretoria. We operate across four provinces, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West. Covering over 120 villages and have a listenership of just over 195 000 as per BRC (Broadcasting Research Commission) 2019, making it the 2nd leading
community radio in South Africa and number one in the Tshwane region.
Aim/Mission:
MCR is an organisation that strives to make meaningful contributions towards communities wherein it operates. It has been involved in different kind of charitable initiatives.
We engage in a ploughing back to the community events that seek to restore the social ills that have taken place in our areas. As a community radio from Hammanskraal in South Africa, we feel that it is our responsibilities to play our part.
